The cozy old-style building features a beautiful green garden, perfect for a quiet moment outside. The Wi-Fi connection works well throughout the hotel, allowing for easy browsing while you stay.
The twin room we stayed in felt cramped and dated, showcasing worn carpet and outdated decor that could use a refresh. The en-suite bathroom had a peculiar layout, with the shower tucked behind the door and limited space for toiletries, making it a bit inconvenient. I also found the breakfast options lacking. the cereal served was stale, and the full English came swimming in grease. While the atmosphere held a certain charm, the overall experience left much to be desired, prompting us to reconsider longevity of stay.

The gardens were a delight, perfect for lounging! The family room was clean and comfy, just what we needed after a busy day.
Had a few too many run-ins with rickety beds—didn't know I signed up for a wrestling match!

I enjoyed my stay at The Nyton, with the delightful gardens offering a serene retreat. The breakfast, particularly the cooked options, delighted my palate despite a minor shower water pressure issue. It’s a charming spot reflecting local character and close to Ely’s sites, perfect for exploration.

I found The Nyton to have a charming character with its beautiful gardens and a location just a five-minute walk from the town center. The bed in my room was comfortable and clean, which made for a pleasant stay. Breakfast was well-cooked, provided by a friendly waitress who added a nice touch to the morning. the facilities felt very outdated. The room was basic and could have used better maintenance. the decor seemed dated, and the small TV had poor reception. I also encountered an issue with noise, as other guests were loud at times. The bathroom setup was cramped, making it less comfortable than it could have been. While the location and atmosphere had potential, the overall quality didn’t meet my expectations for the price.

I truly enjoyed the character of the charming 1920s building, beautifully decorated with wood paneling and offering lovely views of the expansive gardens. The accessible layout made it easy for me to navigate as a senior guest.
A few more accessible seating options in the garden.

The staff lady who served breakfast was really friendly and pleasant, she had this lovely manner that made you feel at home, like when you get that perfect cup of coffee just how you like it. The view from my room over the large lawns and big cedars was lordly, made me feel like I was in my own little kingdom just for a moment.
It wasn't exactly a bargain but still acceptable for what we got.

Room was clean, comfortable, and had a nice view over the garden. Check-in process was confusing with no one around to assist. Quiet location, but felt a bit outdated in some areas. Breakfast options were good, but lacked some variety.

I recently stayed at The Nyton Guesthouse for a night and had a delightful time! The location was simply perfect, just a short walk from the beautiful Cathedral. The cozy atmosphere made it easy to relax, and I loved the charming garden view from my room. Plus, breakfast was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients.
A bit noisy from adjacent rooms.

Had a cracking time at The Nyton, with breakfast cooked just right and the fresh fish was, quite frankly, a culinary gem! Not to mention, it’s just a hop away from the stunning Cathedral, perfect for a leisurely stroll.
Now, if only the hot water situation was sorted! Heard too many tales from a certain manager that could make a gripping comedy, but they didn't quite help my shower situation. A cheeky heads-up on extra dog charges would’ve been lovely as well!
